Design teams have at least three
potential presentations with affiliated written reports
1 Proposal Presentation
Your team's goal is to present and defend your written Proposal describing your team's plan for demonstrating your written Proposal's technical specifications. It is typical for this presentation to end with a Question & Answer session informing pending work.
2 Design Review Presentation
Requested by students and faculty of semesters prior, the Design Review is included so to give feedback to students well prior to final deliverables submission and before it is too late to act.
If a Design Review Presentation is desired, you are encouraged to invite any sponsors or similar stakeholders and end your presentation with a Question & Answer session or similar exchange informing pending work. It is reasonable to show current hardware or images.
3 Final Presentation
The Final Presentation describes the results of your team's work. The fora might include any combination of the Capstone Design Expo, before any sponsors, and others with interest in your project's outcome. As with your Final Report document, this should be written in past tense as you are describing what you already have done. Of particular importance is sharing your demonstration results and any deviations from what your prior documentation anticipated. Pictures and other graphics are encouraged if resulting hardware cannot be shared during your presentation.
Confirm Advisor expectations regarding report and presentation specifics including rubrics, venue, venue resources, audience, and context.
