Accessing Hive Training Videos

Go to sums.gatech.edu and log in.
If you have never been to The Hive before, they need to join the billing and equipment groups first (SUMS requirements):

In the main menu bar on top, go to “Billing Groups” > “Billing Group List”. Search for “Interdisciplinary Design Commons” and click “Request entry to BG” to join the billing group.

To join the equipment group, in the main menu bar, go to “Equipment Groups” > “Equipment Groups List” and search for “The Hive”. Click “Become a Member” and take the quiz (which is just accepting our policies). Return to the Dashboard by click “Go to Dashboard” in the main menu bar.

If they’re a member of multiple BGs/EGs already:

On the main Dashboard, in the top right, click “Active BG/EG” and select “Interdisciplinary Design Commons” for the BG and “The Hive” for the EG.

From the main Dashboard, click “Find Training Requirements” (usually near the bottom of the page), and then “View Training Requirements”. Search for “pcb plotter” and click the only option (“S116.PCBPlotter-01 (The Hive)”) to get to the videos, quiz, and checkoffs.
